I’m an executive leader, teacher, founder, and entrepreneur. My expertise is in organizational strategy, change management, school and organizational design, performance and project management, and leading change in challenging environments. I’ve applied these skills inside and outside of education, and complement them with a passion for the creative – from writing poetry to rapping, travel to idea generation. I’m excited to be a Dad, love to learn, and have been recognized for my creativity, work ethic, and ability to take big ideas from start to finish. I received Carnegie Mellon’s Otto A. Davis award for commitment to racial and social justice in 2007, Recent Alumni Award in 2012, and a special executive residency in 2015. In 2014, I was named one of Pittsburgh’s 40 Under 40. In June 2017, I joined AltSchool as VP of Schools, leading a network of lab schools in San Francisco and New York.
